Brightside is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Brightside app.

Information We Collect

• Location Data: Used to show real-time sun and shadow on the map. Processed on-device, not transmitted to our servers.
• Health Data (Apple Health): With your permission, Brightside reads and writes daylight exposure data to Apple Health. Never shared with us or third parties.

How We Use Your Data

• To display sun and shadow overlays on the map
• To calculate and track your daily daylight exposure
• To sync daylight data with Apple Health

Data Storage and Sharing

All data is processed and stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or share your personal data on external servers. We do not sell your data.

Third-Party Services

Brightside uses Mapbox for map rendering. Mapbox may collect anonymous usage data per their policy at mapbox.com/legal/privacy.

Children's Privacy

Brightside does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your Rights

You can revoke location and Health permissions anytime in your device Settings.

We may update this policy. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
